Claim it back
What you are entitled to claim back varies, please contact the LTSA on 0800 10 88 09 for details regarding the rate and what can be claimed back.
If you are invoiced directly by CRT Fuel or are invoiced via your CRT Card then you will receive a quarterly summary detailing your petrol purchases. If do not currently receive a quarterly petrol summary, then please phone us on 0800 66 66 26. You can use this LTSA approved document as proof of purchase when making you claim.
- Phone CRT Fuel for all your bulk fuel deliveries on 0800 66 66 26
- CRT Fuel will send a petrol summary of all your petrol purchases made within that quarter. The end of each quarter is March, June, September and December. Summaries are sent out in January, April, July and October for the previous three month period.
- Simply complete a MR 70 form the claim form available as a pdf online at www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/factsheets/14/doc/mr70-excise-refund-form.pdf and attach it to your CRT Fuel petrol summary as proof of purchase.
- Enjoy the many hours of freedom from paper shuffling with old receipts and invoices.
- Check your mailbox regularly. A cheque will arrive from the NZTA.
