| Guaranteed trade prices |
Purchases of all Ballance fertilisers through CRT are at trade price – guaranteed! Unlike some others, CRT has not and does not add any commission or service fee to the cost of fertiliser bought through Ballance distribution centres. Your invoice price reflects the base price of the fertiliser plus any freight and store charges, as published in the Ballance Trade Price. |
| Deferred payment options |
CRT offers the facility to defer payment on your fertiliser purchases. Standard terms are referred to as CRT P, where P stands for “prompt payment”: 20th of the month following month of invoice. Offering deferred payment can assist you with your cash flow, with up to 3 months deferred payment beyond our standard terms at 1% interest per month: CRT D1 is 1% interest for 1 month, CRT D2 is 2% for 2 months, and CRT D3 is 3% for 3 months deferred payment. |
| End of year rebates |
As a Ballance Shareholder, you have an entitlement to share in any end of year rebate paid out by Ballance. In addition to this, CRT’s end of year rebate can also include an element for fertiliser purchases, which does set us apart from the non farmer owned retailers, and provides real add-on value to our all-round, fertiliser offer. |

Ballance has a range of unique products that help to set them apart in the marketplace, e.g. Bio-Shield Grass Grub TM, a highly effective biological control agent that contains the natural soil bacteria Serratia entomophilia. The bacteria cause amber disease, fatal in grass grub, and provide long-term, recurrent grass grub control. |
