CRT’s CropBase product manager Harry Green has spent his working life involved in agriculture. He attended agricultural college in the United Kingdom and worked for Dalgety in the UK, before coming to New Zealand 15 years ago. The plans came to fruition when he found a job while being “in the right place, at the right time”, and since then has worked both as an arable specialist and agricultural chemical company territory manager.
In September 2006, he began working for CropWatch as a viticulture sales agronomist for then CropWatch owner, Jim Grierson. When CRT bought Jim’s business in 2007, Harry and the CropWatch team came with the package.
Harry uses his experience and knowledge in his role as CropBase product manager. He works as an intermediary between farmers and software developers to ensure the software needs of customers are met.
