CRT have secured all forms of inputs for the horticulture crops grown by our grower shareholders from local and multi-national suppliers. These products are specific to our grower needs and are serviced by our fully accredited Sales Agronomists.
CropBase software
CRT CropBase software is designed for growers to track and trace and effectively manage their crops. Simple to use, it enables the production of safe, sustainable crops while meeting industry standards and compliance.
Plant Protection
We stock products including fungicides, insecticides, miticides, herbicides, adjuvants, macro - micro nutrients and bio organic materials for the organic growers.
Specialised Equipment
CRT supply refractometers, harvest snips, electronic and manual pruning gear, safety clothing, vine stakes, clips, ties and guards, planter bags, growing medium, string, hooks, posts, wire, Safety signs and clothing, we have two irrigation specialists who are able to design and supply the growers irrigation needs.
CRT Horticulture is the Australasian agent for SFM technology who specialise in fruit handling and harvesting equipment.
Vegetable Seeds
CRT have the widest range available in the South Island. We can arrange seed coating or supply seed already coated.
Three of our Sales Agronomists specialise in the sales of this seed to broad acre, process, and protected crop growers. They support their recommendations with Growing Guides which are specific to grower needs.
Spray Schedules
We have developed industry approved Spray Schedules for the following crops: Apples; Pears; Blackcurrants; Kiwifruit; Cherries; Peaches; Nectarines; Plums; and Potatoes.
These Spray Schedules are based on domestic and export requirements and include registered products specific to a crop, withholding periods, application timing, and compatibility. Please email us if you would like to request any Spray Schedules (Note: these are only available to CRT shareholders).
Soil & Tissue sampling
CRT offer soil and tissue sampling for testing nutrient requirements by crop by growth stage. We send the samples away to Hill Laboratories for analysis then complete an independent interpretation of the results and design a programme best suited to the crop’s nutrient requirements.
